About me

After graduating from the BFA program at Emily Carr University of Art and Design, Kendra worked as an in-house graphics designer for 3 years. One year at a University in Hong Kong and two years at a publication company in Canada. After that, she had a career change, and went to Seoul, South Korea to teach English, where she ended up starting a family, curating and managing 4 airbnb listings. When the pandemic hit, she decided to close up shop and moved to Jeju Island, where she conceived her third child. During the pregnancy, she was inspired by the unique culture and beauty of the island and began to draw and paint again. After a year of island life, she and her family finally worked up the courage for the big move back to Canada. After moving back to her childhood home with her family 5, she started teaching art lessons online, creating art, art commissions and illustrating for clients.
